Data Summaries

Pursuant to the Fiscal Responsibility Law [35 ILCS 200/30-30 and 200/30-31], the Illinois Office of Comptroller annually prepares Individual Data Summaries for each local government that submits an acceptable Annual Financial Report at the time of preparation. Each Individual Data Summary is divided into two sections:
- Local Government Profile
- Fiscal Indicators

FY 2022 individual Data Summaries are now available along with previous fiscal years (2021-1999).

TO BEGIN YOUR SEARCH:

1. Select the Fiscal Year from the drop-down list on the left-hand menu.
2. The choices available are "Find Individual Local Governments", "Find Grouped Local Governments", or "Custom Query".
   

   Find Individual Local Governments - Use this option to find individual local governments by Unit Name, by Type, or by County and Category Range.
   

   Find Grouped Local Governments - Use this option to find local governments grouped together by type and available for download in PDF or ZIP formats. You can also find local governments grouped in pre-set category ranges by county.
   

   Create Custom Query - Use this option to build a customized query based on your selections. Save your results as a PDF. Please review the instructions provided before you begin.
